SKATE has grown over the past few years to become one of the most popular Christmas attractions in the South and, with big plans for 2018, Keeping was asked to create an original illustration style and animation for their marketing collateral.

The aim
THAT Group tasked Keeping with producing a unique illustration and animation style that would effectively portray the atmosphere of the large pop up ice rinks they organise throughout the UK over the Christmas period. If done correctly, we would also be able to use the created assets and style to produce further digital and print marketing collateral.
The solution
Through various iterations and detailed exploration, we found a direction that delivered the right colour palette and illustration style for THAT Group’s design team to be able to deliver their experience and have it enhanced by an atmospheric animation which accurately portrayed – and enhanced – the brand experience.
