Visual Identity
When designing the visual identity of a brand, Keeping will host a Brand Workshop with a clear agenda. The output is visually presented back, and subsequently guides the creation of the initial logo concepts.
These raw concepts — which could be type-led, very graphical, or anywhere in between — are based on our output from the previous phase and are developed in collaboration with you.
Don’t use colour
Initially, we find that colour distracts from the form of the logo, so we remove it from our early concepts. Instead, we often choose to explore movement.
The movement we present illustrates how the brand could begin to live in a more kinetic environment. Brands that move encourage far greater engagement from audiences.
More than just visual
A true brand identity blurs the lines between visuals and all other forms of communication.
For a brand to truly resonate with an audience, it must speak with the appropriate Tone of Voice and be empathetic to the audience member’s state of mind.
